What's in the Pocket!
Sporting a pocket square and armed with an iPhone and sketchbook, I can often be found capturing the way a tree is lit, the splendour of an ancient building; or even life in the market square, logging in the memory banks and hard drive to inspire a creative response.
As a boy I loved to sketch and paint and was encouraged to develop my art by my grandmother and her brother, Norman Mansbridge, the professional cartoonist and illustrator.
Whether at home in Cambridge (UK) with my trusted feline companion, Mia or travelling in Europe or further afield, I find inspiration in the beauty of the details and character of the world around me. In watercolour, pen and ink or digital pencil and brush, I capture moments that stir the soul and freshen the spirit.
