About Me

Information on the Artists Edward Cearns

Working as an artist, I paint in watercolour, pen and ink or digital pencil and brush of my beloved Cambridge and from my travels and of course my imagination.

Since 2018 I have had a regular weekly art stall on Cambridge Market and I attend events and participate in exhibitions throughout the year.

Sharing my work between art and ordained ministry, I am excited at the way the Spirit has brought those threads closer together.  I use my art skills, ministry and teaching experience in facilitating workshops to encourage creativity and deep spirituality in others.

Throughout my life a golden thread of creativity has woven through the tapestry. This thread goes back further than myself to my great uncle Norman Mansbridge, the professional cartoonist and illustrator.

In the studio with my trusted feline companion Mia, In addition to my painting, I have also published a book that features illustrations of my journey along the Camino. You can explore more about it by clicking the link below.
